A. I’ve had a longstanding interest in meditation, creative visualisation, the subconscious mind, and self-hypnosis. For me, hypnosis is a fantastic tool for personal change and it has helped me in so many ways including relaxation and achieving goals. Given my enthusiasm for hypnotherapy it was a natural progression for me to become professionally qualified and use my skills to help others. I have been in private practice since 1996.
A. Most people come to see me because they haven’t been able to change something about their mindset and behaviour that they logically know they should be able to change. The most common are overeating, lack of motivation, stress and anxiety, and wanting to heal old emotions and let go of the past. I also see a lot of people who feel they are subconsciously blocking themselves from achieving certain goals. Low self-esteem and the perception of being ‘not good enough’ is also a common presenting issue.
